Errors that may occur when working from Proposales to OPERA Cloud
Missing details error
If above error shows, it most likely means that a subrow has been added to an event on a function space, however no event resource has been chosen from the drop down menu:
Number of attendees not chosen
If above error is showing Proposales is indicating it won't be able to send the proposal prior to an amount of attendees entered in the OPERA Cloud right menu:
Rooms decision date should be prior to the arrival date
The expiration date on a proposal is linked to the decision date on your block. In case you have set an expiration date on for example the 30th of June, but the arrival date of your Block is set to the 20th of June, Proposales will in that case provide you with the above error since it will not be able to enter a decision date on the block that is passed the planned arrival date.
Block Code Format Error
Above error refers to the Block Code format configuration requirements set in your OPERA Clode. In this specific example, the required format for the Block Code is YY (last two digits of the year of the block) - MM (month of the block) - AAAAAA (The first word or six letters of the company or title of the proposal).
When a company name or proposal title is too short, such as in this example only being "MCI", Proposales is unable to follow OPERA Cloud's Block Code formatting rules.
Try extending the proposal title, or company name on the proposal, to ensure the Block Code formatting rules of your OPERA Cloud are being followed.
Errors that may occur when importing a Block ID from OPERA Cloud to Proposales
Block is already linked with another proposal
If above error shows, this means the Block ID you are trying to import to the proposal has already been imported to an existing proposal. Best way to find the existing proposal where the Block ID has been imported to, is to search via the 'all' section:
Invalid Block Status
When above error status shows, it means that you are trying to import a Block ID that has DEF as block status in OPERA Cloud. Only the available starting statuses, as configured in your OPERA Cloud settings, can be on a Block at the time of importing the Block to Proposales.
Skipping Opera Block Profile
Above error is actually not an error, but more of an FYI for you as the sales person. This occurs after importing a Block ID from OPERA Cloud, where the contact person attached to the block is missing an email address. Without an email address Proposales is unable to send the proposal to the recipient, and therefore Proposales is informing you that it has successfully imported the information from the Block, however has skipped the recipient.
You are however still able to manually add the recipient in Proposales and send away the proposal. Due note that this will not update the attached contact person on the Block.
