Reject Reasons
Reject Reasons help you understand why a proposal didn’t convert. By logging why deals fail, your team can analyze patterns and use this data to improve future proposals and reduce lost opportunities.
Set Up Reject Reasons
To manage reject reasons, go to:
Settings → Reject Reasons
Here you can create or edit the reasons that can be selected when a proposal is rejected or withdrawn.
Opera Cloud Integration
If your Proposales account is connected to Opera Cloud, reject reasons can automatically update the reason in your booking in Opera.
To make this work:
Import the reject reasons by clicking Import, and edit the descriptions if needed.
Using Reject Reasons
Both the client and the hotelier can select a reject reason when a proposal is rejected or withdrawn, and they can add a comment for more context.
Additional details:
The reject reason is saved in the Date field in the bottom-right corner of the proposal.
Recipients select a reason after confirming their rejection.
Sales teams can add a reason if a proposal is withdrawn.
You can view statistics on rejected proposals in Insights.
When sending a new proposal to the same client, your sales team can see the last reject reason, helping them adjust their approach and improve the chances of success.
Note: This feature must be activated by Proposales.
