Getting Started
Enable the Chatbot
To start using the AI Chatbot, simply enable it in your Proposales account settings. Once enabled, the chatbot will replace the traditional inbox form, offering a more interactive experience for your visitors.
Customize Prompts
Tailor the chatbot’s prompts to match your brand’s tone and the specific information you need to collect. Whether you want to ask about event details, guest numbers, or specific requirements, the prompts can be fully customized to suit your needs. We have collected some tips on modifying the prompt here.
Automatic Language Detection
The AI Chatbot automatically detects the language based on what the user will write.
Responding to Requests
All RFPs collected by the chatbot will appear under the Inbox tab in Proposales. From there, you can quickly create a proposal by tapping "Create Proposal," with all the data automatically populated into your template.
Auto-Added Parameters When Embedded
When the chatbot is embedded, certain parameters from the website are automatically passed along with the request. This helps you understand the context or origin of each request:
source: The full domain name, including any subdomain (e.g.,www.example.com).url: The current URL of the webpage where the chatbot is embedded (e.g.,https://example.com/meetings-and-events/ocean-2-meeting-room).last_referrer: The URL of the webpage visited before reaching the current page (e.g.,https://example.com/meetings-and-eventsorhttps://www.google.com).
