1. How do I tell if a product is connected to EventTemple?
The Event Temple logo shows on the product but also if the product is available or not shows that it's a connected product.
2. Can the: "connect to EventTemple" toggle be switched off?
Yes, by switching off the toggle, no reservation in EventTemple will be made even though you are using Event Temple connected products.
3. Can I send proposales with mixed non-connected and connected products?
Yes, products used to be informative can be used in a proposal together with Event Temple products. The non connected products will not be sent over to Event Temple.
*We do not recommend setting amounts on these non connected products even though it is possible.
4. Are there any products not being imported?
Event resources and items are not synced as products to the Proposales content library, instead these are added to the proposal under the event location product in the proposal.
5. Can I edit prices of event Resources or Packages? (Updated Oct, 2024
Yes, the prices of an event resource can be edited in Proposales. The same is true to the Packages in which each item of the package is editable.
6. Can the content name be changed in Proposales?
Yes every content piece synced in from Event Temple can be renamed, added text and image without affecting the connectivity to Event Temple.
7. If we rename a conference room in Proposales content library how will we know which room it actually is connected to in Event Temple?
There is no way of knowing the original name.
The workaround is in the description add the names as examples in the description, and to use the actual room as the first.
In the example below Galaxen is the original name of the location:
8. Does the status of the proposal also update in Event Temple?
Yes
Proposales Status -> Event Temple Status
Active/ Sent. = Initial status is set up in the Event Temple settings in Proposales
Accepted = Definite
Withdrawn. = Lost
Rejected = Lost
Expired = Status is not updated
9. Availability, is a space shown as available even if partially unavailable?
Lets say you set the period for 2 days.
If the space is unavailable one of these days, when opening the content folder the space will be shown as '🚫 not available'.
However, when selecting this space and opening the menu for the product (see pic). Now the availability will be displayed per day: '🚫 not available' for one and '✅ available' for the other.
10. If the booking is in Lead status in Event Temple does this block the availability?
The status will be shown as '🚫 not available'.
However the space can still be selected and an overbooking is then made.
11. When is a reservation created?
Once the proposal is sent from Proposales a reservation in Event Temple is created.
12. Hos does proposals with the 'Pending (2nd option)' Booking Status work with Event Temple?
When setting the booking status to 'Pending 2nd option', no reservation is made in Event Temple. As soon as the booking status is updated/saved to either 'No booking' or 'Booked' a reservation is made in Event Temple. If any updates or changes needs to be done to the proposal, we recommend to make the changes first before saving the updated Booking Status.
13. Can the optional function be used?
Yes setting rooms or products as optional does work. Once the recipient choses and Accepts the proposal the optional products will be added to Event Temple reservation.
14. Can I hide the splits of packages?
No, this is not possible.
15. Can I pick only some items from a package? (Updated Oct, 2024)
Yes you are able to remove items of a package to be included in the proposal.
16. Does the company connected to the contact also end up in Event Temple?
Yes
17. Is it possible to set discounts on products?
Yes, meeting spaces and hotel rooms can be set with discount in the proposal. This will show as the lower price in Event Temple booking.
Packages are not possible to discount.
18. Why is it not possible to create a new company/ account from Proposales to Event Temple? (New Oct, 2024)
The functionality of setting up a new Company/Account in Event Temple by creating a new profile in Proposales has been disabled due to an issue with duplicate company profiles.
Sending a proposal and starting in Salesforce the attached company will come into Proposales and also end up in Event Temple.
Sending a proposal and starting in Proposales, you need to search for the correct profile attached to the right company with a Salesforce or Event Temple logo attached in Recipients in Proposales. If you need to set up a new company profile, please contact Strawberry.
