When the connectivity between OPERA Cloud and Proposales is set up, the products from OPERA Cloud can be imported.
Go to the Content Section and click "Import from Oracle". In a matter of seconds you will see all your OPERA products listed.
Proposales will import the following types:
Room Types
Room Pools
Catering Packages
Function Spaces
Proposales will not pre-import the following types (they are automatically synced between OPERA Cloud and Proposales):
Rate Packages
Composed Menus
Menu Items
Items
Once imported, description, price and images can be added.
Click on the product to edit and enter the information you wish to be displayed in your proposals under each product.Please note that all Tax Calculations are based on your settings in OPERA Cloud (i.e. Revenue Type and Transactions Code). You do not need to add the VAT and prices in the Content Section as they will automatically be fetched from OPERA Cloud when creating the proposal.
All your OPERA Cloud will show with the red Oracle logo. When using "Shortcut Mode" (OPERA Cloud -> Proposales), only products with the Oracle logo will sync with the Block in Opera.
You can always come back to the Content Section and click on the Import-Button again if you have created any new products in OPERA Cloud. Only the new products will then be fetched into the Content Library.
